About the artist:
George Beach

It was the unrelenting pain, inflammation and joint destruction of Rheumatoid Arthritis that forced artist George Beach to give up painting. Over 25 years ago, after completing his Bicentennial mural for a new library building in Philadelphia he put down his brushes and left them untouched until a treatment breakthrough and the tragic events of 9/11 gave him the courage to paint again.

Beach holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He studied drawing and painting at the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial and L'Academie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris.

He served on the Board of Moore College of Art and is Trustee Emeritus at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Beach is currently a Trustee of the University of the Arts.

His work has been aquired by Fortune 500 corporations and is represented in numerous private collections.
